“Beautiful Landscapes – the Key to Healthy Communities” free garden seminar hosted by Holliston in Bloom

WHAT'S BLOOMING? Come join us next Tuesday, March 24, for a FREE gardening seminar to get your creative gardening juices flowing! Holliston in Bloom is excited to host Katy Moss Warner and she will be speaking about “Beautiful Landscapes – the Key to Healthy Communities”. Katy is a board member for the America in Bloom (AIB), a national organization that promotes beautification through community involvement. She is a judge for AIB in America and travels internationally for AIB as well. Holliston will be the host for the 2017 National AIB Symposium! Katy is President Emeritus of the American Horticultural Society, a national not-for-profit organization. Previously, she was the Director of Horticulture and Environmental Initiatives at the Walt Disney World in Florida for 24 years. Katy has been featured in numerous books and articles and has led garden tours around the world. She speaks regularly on various horticultural subjects including the importance of quality landscapes to the vitality of communities. Admission is free but donations to HIB will be graciously accepted. 100% of your donations will be used towards projects in Holliston. 7 – 9 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 600 Central Street.
