2020 Democratic Convention Caucus

Registered Democrats in Ashland will be holding a caucus at Ashland Town Hall on March 1st at 3:00pm to elect 9 delegates and 4 alternates to the 2020 Massachusetts Democratic Convention, where Democrats from across Massachusetts will gather to vote on candidates for the US Senate ahead of the September primary. The Convention will be held at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell on May 30, 2020. The caucus is open to the public, with all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Ashland eligle to vote and be elected. The Democratic Committee welcomes participants. Pre-registered Democrats who will be age 16 by February 15, 2020 will be able to participate in caucuses and run for delegate. Delegates and alternates will be gender balanced, with non-binary gender delegates and alternates not being counted in either the male or female category. In the spirit of inclusion, youth, minorities, and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be add-on delegates, either at their caucus or online at www.massdems.org The Ashland Democratic Town Committee meets monthly.
