The Hopedale girls U12A girls softball team has played competitive summer softball together for the past five years under head coach Mark Boldy, and assistant coaches Bill Frongillo, Kevin Casey and Eric Gaus. The girls previously made it to the semi-finals of the Twin Valley League each of the past four years, however, fell short securing a spot in the championship game. This year they not only made it to the championship game, they beat Hudson 3-1 in extra innings to win the championship! The U12A team’s overall record for TVL/Tournaments was 19 wins and 4 losses. The girls scored an impressive 195 runs, allowing only 56 - including 10 shut out games led by pitcher Ashleigh Bourgeois. In the Milford tournament they finished 3-0 in pool play and didn’t allow a single run. Congratulations to the whole team and coaches for an amazing season!
