The Ashland Business Association (ABA) will host speaker Anne Lafleur, MSW, a consultant and facilitator with a passion for helping people build and strengthen relationships, on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at The Residence at Valley Farm, 369 Pond St. (Rt. 126).
Her talk to business and community leaders is entitled “Build Your Business with Generosity.” Casual business networking and refreshments run from 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by the program, 6 to 7:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the public. Register online to attend at https://ashlandbusinessassociation.com/events.
Lafleur asks: “Do you want to stay top-of-mind with your customers and prospects without being ‘salesy,’ aggressive or annoying? If so, you will want to find ways to surprise and delight them.”
Business owners/community leaders will take away from this program an appreciation of the benefits of a generosity-based approach to business; creative ideas for surprising and delighting customers; authentic gratitude for customers, prospects and supporters; and practical insight into how to incorporate these principles into business.

The Tuesday, March 3, ABA program is a speed networking breakfast with members from the Metrowest Chamber of Commerce and the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce, 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Ashland Public Library, Community Room, 66 Front St.
