New Library Director
Thank you to all Hopedale residents from Ann Fields: As many of you know, I will be retiring on January 31, 2019. I have been the library director for the past 10 years and cannot thank you enough as a community for your support of the library and me. The Bancroft Memorial Library is a beautiful building to enter each day and wonderful place to work. It has been a pleasure to work with this talented staff, Library Board of Trustees, and Friends of the Hopedale Library. I would like to thank all of them for their encouragement, hard work, and making the job so much fun. While I will miss visiting with our library patrons, I am excited to know you will have a great new director who will bring new skills, enthusiasm, and energy to the library.

Welcome New Director, Robyn York!
Your new Library Director, Robyn York joins the staff on Friday, February 1, 2019. Robyn, a Hopedale resident, will be a familiar face to many of our library patrons. She worked at the Bancroft Memorial Library as a library assistant for three years while taking classes to earn her Master of Library and Information Science degree from Simmons University. She has since been Head Librarian in two busy school libraries, working with students and teachers as they navigate the ever changing world of technology in order to research class topics. Please join us as we welcome Robyn back to the Bancroft Memorial Library.
