Beginning Thursday, June 1, the Natick Center Cultural District (NCCD) will host “Natick Nights” in Natick Center. Natick Nights will be held every Thursday night, June through July, 5 to 8 p.m., and will showcase the entertainment and artistry that is unique to the Center.
“There might be street performers, a walking history tour, vintage cars, a gallery opening, artist demonstrations, maybe a beer or wine tasting, restaurant specials and featured merchants,” Athena Pandolf, NCCD Executive Director, said. “No two Thursday nights will be the same, each one will feature a different line up of events. Every week will have a theme with an accompanying flyer. These are just a few of the things that we will have on Natick Nights, and we’re hoping that people will come and explore the downtown.”
On Thursday nights, the Morse Institute Library is open until 9 p.m. and the Town Hall is open until 8 p.m.
NCCD hopes that by bringing exciting entertainment and special events to the downtown area it will boost business and create a space where people will want to visit for the evening. Funding for the event is provided by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
Listings for each night’s events will be on the NCCD website, www.natickcenter.org, Twitter @natickcenter, and the Natick Center Cultural District Facebook page.
