The Memorial Committee presented the Board of Selectmen with a flag that was flown on the USS Arizona. Committee Chair Mr. Larney presented the flag and the certificate of authenticity to the Board of Selectmen on Monday, June 26th. The flag will be displayed in a case in Town Hall.
Medway resident Major Richard Keogh, who served as Grand Marshall of the 2017 Medway Memorial Day Parade, facilitated the donation. He is a part-time resident of Hawaii and was at the 75th anniversary of the USS Arizona on December 7, 2016.
The Board of Selectmen are grateful for the gift to the Town and extend their sincere appreciation to Major Keogh and the Memorial Committee.
