Forty years ago, the Friends of the Medway Library held its first book sale consisting of a few boxes of books. Now, each book sale has close to 15,000 books and media, all carefully organized in over 50 categories.
Friday, May 12, 4-8 p.m. Friends of the Medway Library Book Sale for Friends-only. Membership may be purchased or renewed that at the door. Be the first to view and buy books.Saturday, May 13, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friends of the Medway Library Public Book Sale. Almost 15,000 carefully organized adult and children’s books, CD’s, DVD’s, most from 25 cents to 2 dollars. There will also be a large selection of railroad books which were donated by a collector.
Saturday, May 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friends of the Medway Library Bag Sale. Fill up a large brown paper grocery bag with any books, media or games, all for only $5. Friends will provide the bags.
