Holliston will once again ring in the holiday season in style with an annual event townspeople and business owners alike eagerly await each year. Saturday, November 25th from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. is the date of the Holliston Holiday Stroll, organized by the Holliston Business Association (HBA) each year
“We try to make it as festive and as enjoyable and as entertaining for all the denominations. It’s for everyone to enjoy a family day,” says longtime holiday stroll organizer Diane Marrazzo, owner of The Grapevine. In addition to the fun events planned, says Marrazzo, “We have food trucks Bitchin’ BBQ and the Say Cheese, and that’s going to be big that year, with tacos in Upper Town Hall by Los Cabos, and treats from Gaetano’s Bakery.

Various businesses around town will offer special promotions for the day, so the stroll is a great day for holiday shopping. At Jordan Hall, a number of businesses will have tables, including Josh Kickham Photography, Agness & Dora Clothing, Mary Kay, Purple Umbrella Jewelry, Rainbow Soaps, Tara Dearborn, the Little Beehive Farm and Thirty-one Gifts.
Don’t forget to stop in brick-and-mortar storefronts all over town, too. From yummy samples (The Candy Cottage, the Holliston Superette, Depot Package Store, Arcadian Farm, Central Café & Convenience), to raffles (Kamala Boutique, Holliston TrueValue), to special activities (Mary’s Indoor Garden & Plants, Fiske’s, Holliston Animal Hospital, Fairy Hair Extensions, Soul Spirit Studio), to just good old fashioned specials and discounts (Gilfoy Art & Framing, Holliston Antiques, Gracefully Restored, Holliston Jewelers, Holliston Grill) you’re sure to have a blast and save some money to boot on your upcoming holiday shopping. All that strolling can be exhausting, so thanks to several sponsors, two free trolley trolleys will be running from 12:30 – 5 p.m. Trolley route #1 goes to Village Plaza, Jordan Hall, Upper town hall and Washington Street, and trolley #2 will take folks down Norfolk St., Railroad Street, Central Street and downtown. This year, it will include Arcadian Farms and Deborah’s Flowers, both involved in the stroll for the first time this year.
In the spirit of the giving season, strollers will also have a chance to help out those in need. Three Giving Trees will be set up around town, one in front of The Grapevine, one at Fiske’s and one at the Candy Cottage, for strollers to donate hats, mittens, and scarves for those who need them.
