This year, the Holliston Lions Club has teamed up with the Holliston Community Farm and Nature Preserve to host their third annual Halloween event. The Haunted Walk will take place on October 29, from 4 – 9 p.m. at the Holliston Community Farm and Nature Preserve, 34 Rogers Road, Holliston. The spooky event will be not-as-spooky from 4-6 p.m., suitable for young children, while older children and adults will enjoy the 6-9 p.m. spookier walk. Admission will be $10 for adults, $5 for ages 3-10, and 2 and under are free.
Holliston Lion Chris Gaboriault is chairing the event.
“We started the event two years ago and teamed up with Breezy Hill Therapeutic Riding,” says Gaboriault. “Breezy Hill ended up closing, and last year we tried teaming up with the Holliston AgCom.” Proceeds from this year’s event will support Holliston Lions Club charities and the Holliston Community Farm and Nature Preserve.
Like Halloween? Volunteers are still needed for a number of scare sites at the event.
“We have zombies. We have a chainsaw massacre. We have a dragon, along with the cemetery and the scarecrows and stuff like that,” says Gaboriault. “We need volunteers to make it a viable event.” To volunteer, contact Chris Gaboriault at gaboreo@verizon.net.
Refreshments will also be sold at the event, including warm cider.
