The 8th Annual Hopedale Downtown Winter Stroll will be held on Saturday, December 1st in downtown Hopedale, MA from noon to 7pm. The stroll takes place at many stops along Hopedale Street and Dutcher Street including many historic buildings such as the Draper Gym, Hopedale Community House, Bancroft Memorial Library, Atria Draper Place and the Little Red Shop Museum. Vendor locations are at the gym, library, church and museum and will showcase work from local vintage vendors, hand makers and artisans. Many downtown businesses also take part in the stroll with special offers and refreshments for customers. If you get tired or you’re carrying too many great gifts you can hitch a pedicab ride back to your car in one of the several available parking lots.
Get a unique gift for everyone on your list while shopping small and local with our many talented vendors, have a bite to eat from one of the food trucks and enjoy an outdoor movie by the fire at the Draper Gym. Grab a friend and a souvenir mug & ballot from the Friends of Historic Hopedale and head out on the cocoa crawl tasting each recipe along the route and voting for your favorite!
The Hopedale Community House will host the annual Hopedale Cultural Council Student Art Show, a gingerbread house contest, a local knitting group and a rug hooking demonstration during the day and performances from the high school music groups and a Santa visit and community tree lighting at night.
