Join the Medway T.H.R.I.V.E. Community Book Read

Medway T.H.R.I.V.E. (Tools: Health, Resiliency, Inclusiveness, Vitality, Empowerment) is hosting a community book read. Members of the Medway and surrounding communities are encouraged to read the first four chapters and conclusion of IGen: Why Today’s Super-Connected Kids are Growing Up Less Rebellious, More Tolerant, Less Happy – and Completely Unprepared for Adulthood, by Jean M. Twenge, Ph.D., sometime through March 31st.
The book analyzes the needs of children born after 1994, who have grown up with internet access, and offers parents insight into the ways they can support their children to live healthier and happier lives.
Two facilitated community in April are planned:
• April 2, 2019 at TC Scoops 6:30 start
• April 3, 2019 at Medway Public Library at 6:30
Books will be available to borrow at Anytime Fitness, Charles River Bank, Dr. Wendy Collins’ Pediatrics Office, Medway Animal Hospital, Medway Department of Public Services, Medway Fire Station, Medway High School, Medway Police Station, Medway Public Library, Medway Senior Center, Medway Town Hall, Muffin House Cafe, Starbucks, TC Scoops, the Little Gym, and Tumblebeans Cafe and Play.
The event, he says, is not just for parents and not just for Medway residents, but for anyone interested.
