The Norfolk Senior Center offers a full slate of activities this month for seniors in its fully air-conditioned facility. The Senior Center is located at 28 Medway Branch Road. Hours are Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Contact the center at 508-528-4430 for information on any of these programs or to sign up. Reiki Experience the Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing, administered by “laying on of hands” by Gail Grivois. Call for an appointment. Fee is $12 for 15 minutes. July 11 from 10 a.m. to noon.
SHINE Counselor The SHINE Program (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) is a state health insurance assistance program that provides free health insurance information, counseling and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare and their caregivers.  July 12 at 9 a.m.
Name that Tune Test your knowledge of love songs from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. July 13 at 12:30 p.m.
Manicures Basic manicure is $11. See price list at Senior Center for more services. Call for an appointment. July 14.
Whist Party Games consist of four hands and each player deals a hand. Rules will be available and refreshments will be served. July 15 at 12:30 p.m.
Council on Aging Monthly Meeting Open to all. July 18 at 9:30 a.m.
Massage Massage therapist Anne McElwee will offer a 15-minute massage for $10 or a 30-minute massage for $20. July 19.
Castle Island Day Trip Travel to popular recreation site on the harbor in South Boston. Walk the trails, watch the boats, wade in the water. Free but limited to 20 people. July 20 at 9:30 a.m.
Walpole VNA Clinic Call the Senior Center for a ride. July 20.
Haircuts Call for an appointment. $10 fee. July 21 at 9 a.m.
Bingo Donations are 60 cents per card. Mondays at 1 p.m.
Clever Crafters Bring your project or just stop by for tea and coffee. Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
Food Shopping Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. (Shaw’s in Franklin); July 14 (Market Basket in Bellingham)
Knitting Club The group is finishing up shrugs and lap robes for a local nursing home. Baby projects starting soon. Fridays at 10 a.m.
Learn to Quilt Instructor Sue Crane will facilitate the group and help new quilters get started. Materials available for beginners. Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
Strength Video “Easy Does It” video for the older senior, or for post-illness, injury, or surgery. Every day from 9 to 10 a.m.
Tai-Chi-Yang Style Certified Tai-Chi instructor Paula Sullivan instructs beginner, advanced, and chair participants. $2 fee. Mondays at 11:15 a.m.
Texas Hold ‘em Poker Mondays from 1 to 4 p.m.
Yoga Mondays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
Zumba Gold Taught by certified teacher Mi Ran Shin (Mini). $2 fee. Wednesdays at 10 a.m. No class on July 13.
