In an art competition open to all senior citizens in the Commonwealth, Medway was among 66 towns who participated this fall. Of 167 entries to the competition, held at the Commonwealth Museum, Medway residents were awarded Best in Show, 2nd Place, Honorable Mention, and two Ribbons of Participation. The Medway participants are part of a weekly art class held at the Medway Senior Center. The classes, taught by Nancy McCarthy, are held Thursday afternoons from noon to 3 p.m. New art class members are always welcome - contact the Senior Center at (508) 533-3210 for details.
