Members of the MetroWest delegation invited the new General Manager of the MBTA, Luis Ramirez, on the Framingham-Worcester line. Legislators and the General Manager spoke with commuters on the train about their experiences and solicited feedback on areas for improvement.
The Westborough House delegation of Representative Carolyn Dykema (D-Holliston), Representative Danielle Gregoire (D-Marlborough), and Representative Hannah Kane (R-Shrewsbury) boarded at the Westborough station alongside General Manager Ramirez and Jessica Strunkin, Deputy Director at the 495/MetroWest Partnership. They were joined in Framingham by Representative Jack Lewis (D-Framingham) and in Wellesley by Representative Alice Peisch (D-Wellesley).
This ride-along was the second onboard legislator listening session this fall. In October, Representative Dykema and Representative Chris Walsh (D-Framingham) held a similar listening session on the 508 train to hear concerns on the line’s highest-volume morning train.
