Millis High School Announces its Class of 2017 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Millis High School is proud to announce Madison Riley, daughter of Lynn and Kevin Riley, as the Class of 2017 Valedictorian. Madison is a Student Council Class Officer and Vice President of Millis’s chapter of the National Honor Society. She is also a member of Millis High School’s Peer Leaders. She was recognized as the top student in her AP Biology and AP English Language classes. Outside of school, Madison participates in horseback riding and swimming. Madison will be attending Northeastern University next year where she will be studying Behavioral Neuroscience. She was selected for a Dean’s Scholarship and University Grant at Northeastern.
Amanda Busa, daughter of Diane and Andrew Busa, is Millis High School’s Salutatorian. Amanda is a member of the school’s National Honor Society and Amnesty International club. She was the Harvard Prize Book Award recipient last year and has been recognized by the College Board as an AP Scholar. Outside of school, Amanda is active in writing at Archiveofourown.org and Fanfiction.net, and volunteers for the Friends of Medway Library. Amanda will be attending Trinity College next year where she will major in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Amanda received the President’s Scholarship at Trinity.
