On Friday, June 9 the Norfolk Senior Center will be holding a wine tasting, led by wine expert Bob O’Brien, manager of Fifth Avenue Liquors, a popular family-owned liquor store in Millis and Framingham.
O’Brien will share his knowledge of wine in an entertaining and practical presentation that includes a selection of wines from around the world. The event, one of the Center’s most popular activities, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will also include a variety of light appetizers to accompany the tastings. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for spouses, partners, and friends who do not drink alcohol.
This event is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Norfolk Council on Aging.
Participants must register in advance at the Senior Center front desk or by calling 508-528-4430 to secure a place on the guest list. Deadline for registration is June 5.
Do you have a friend, neighbor, or relative residing in Norfolk who has yet to visit the Senior Center? This event can also provide an ideal introduction to the Senior Center, its volunteers, and the many services it offers to the community.
