Open Burning Season has officially begun. If you would like to register for a free burning permit, visit the Norwood Fire Department on Nahatan St.
Open Burning Season runs from January 15 through May 1, with burning times, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., every day. Residents must first call the Norwood Fire Department before burning and the fire department can assess the wind conditions for the day. Open burning regulations and instructions will be provided with the permit.
