Calling all residents….or existing residents looking for community involvement, meet town officials, or municipal departments. The Morrill Memorial Library is hosting the 3rd Annual Norwood 101, Monday, April 8, 6-8 p.m.
This event was initially developed for Norwood residents who have moved into Town the past year, however, many people who have owned or rented for a while find this evening very informative and fun! For two hours, Norwood neighbors mingle, gather information, and meet representatives from many local non profit groups, Norwood municipal departments, such as Norwood Light Broadband, and library representatives. Norwood 101 sponsor Norwood Bank also provided welcome bags filled with information on those and many other Norwood businesses. Attendees also have the opportunity to win raffle prizes donated by many local organizations.
Registration is not required, but encouraged not only to ensure gift bags for everyone but to be eligible for the grand prize raffle. To register, call 781-769-0200, x110, visit www.norwoodlibrary.org/morrillcalendar, or stop by the library information or reference desk.
This municipality filled with valuable resources to enhance the lives of its occupants and the Morrill Memorial Library is providing that information in one convenient stop. New residents will soon realize the altruistic temperament that stirs within the Norwood borders and will also learn how they can directly contribute to give back to this generous community. The Town of Norwood celebrates often throughout the year, but this evening is all about commending new (and longstanding) residents on their residential choice and offering a great resource to learn more about all it has to offer.
