It was a cool, rainy Marathon Day on April 16, 2018, one likely to be remembered for a long time. Despite the stormy weather, in total, there were 26,948 runners braved the elements to reach a goal they trained months, possibly years, to achieve. In addition, 43 participants entered the wheelchair race, and 51 hand cyclists.
Within these impressive numbers, ten Norwood residents entered the elite field that can stake claim of running the prestigious, 122nd Boston Marathon, the world's oldest annual marathon and possibly the hardest 26.2 miles to conquer.
