The beautiful weather on Saturday, September 17 brought out hundreds of people to the 37th annual Day in the Park. Classes from the high school and other groups offered games for the kids including the popular dunk tank. The fire and police departments manned some vehicles to be explored.
Rainforest Reptiles displayed some interesting animals for the audience to learn about and meet Clairty the Clown did amazing things with balloons and drew a crowd to demonstrate their self-defense moves.
A variety of craft vendors exhibited their wares at their booths. Plenty of delicious food from hot dogs to apple pie enticed hungry attendees.
Live music from the bandstand was provided by Quintessential Brass and The Infractions. Local DJ Mike Rutkowski delighted everyone with musical games and dancing.
Under the tent the art show had 66 pieces of art on display. The Purchase Prize winners list:
