Millis Student Collects Soles4Souls, Shoe Drive at Millis Library December 17

For her senior project, Millis student, Taylor White, is collecting old and used shoes for Soles4Souls, a not for profit global social enterprise based out of Tennessee. Soles4Souls is committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes. Taylor's goal is to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes to donate to Soles4Souls. You can help support Taylor's project by dropping off your old and unused shoes at the Millis High School/Middle School or at the Clyde Brown elementary school. The boxes are located in the main office of the high school and the cafeteria of the elementary school.
There will also be an all-day shoe drive at the Mills Public Library THIS SATURDAY, December 17th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will take place in the Roche Bros. Community Room. Soles4Souls collects all types of shoes including sneakers, sandals, boots, high heels, flip-flops and all other footwear. They take shoes of all sizes and all conditions. They even accept half pairs!
