The Ashland Library is trying out a magazine exchange in the Concord Street entry way. If you have magazines or gently used catalogues too good to throw away, and you’d like to share them, place them on the bench and take some that you like. After you read them, and they are still good, bring them back, and take more!
So far, the area has stayed neat, there has been no confusion with library materials, and almost all of the magazines have been taken. The outgoing magazines have been successful, but incoming magazines so far are scarce. For the program to continue, it must be self-sustaining, so make sure to “leave one, take one.”
