Nomination Papers
If you are interested in running for Town Office in the May 16 Annual Town Election, you may pick up nomination papers now at the town clerk office. They are due back by Tuesday, March 28 by 5pm. You will need a minimum of 50 valid signatures to be placed on the ballot. We suggest you obtain at least two full pages, or 64 signatures.
Office seats available for the May 16 Annual Town Election:
Moderator (1 seat for 1 yr)
Selectman (1 seat for 3 yrs)
Assessor (1 seat for 3 yrs)
School Committee 
(1 seat for 3 yrs)
Library Trustee 
(2 seats for 3 yrs)
Board of Health 
(2 seats for 3 yrs)
Housing Authority (1 seat for 5 yrs), (1 seat for 1yr)
Planning Board (1 seat for 5 yrs), (1 seat for 2 yrs)
Town Election

All voting is held at the Ashland High School, 65 East Union St.
Deadline to register to vote or change party enrollment for the Annual Town Election and the Town Meeting: Thursday,
April 13
Next Scheduled Town Meeting: Wednesday, May 3
Next Scheduled Annual Town Election: Tuesday, May 16 (Polls open from 7 am to 8 pm)
