After working with health problems for many years, Sharon Kane, an Ashland resident, learned she had gluten sensitivity as well as sensitivity to dairy, eggs, soy and commercial yeast. Eliminating those foods helped her recover her health.
Unable to find breads she could eat, she began experimenting using old-fashioned sourdough and fermenting techniques while also using the simplest and healthiest ingredients.
The resulting breads are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, yeast-free, gum-free and refined sugar-free. These old world European-style breads have substance with a complex taste (as a result of the sourdough process) and are also nutrient dense and easy on the digestion.
Besides offering breads, they also offer Sprouted Nuts, Grain-Free Power Cookies, Low Glycemic Desserts, Bread Mixes and Cookbooks.
