Area Artists’ Competition and Art Exhibit

Premier Image Gallery, 290 Eliot Street and Route 126, Ledgemere Plaza, Ashland is celebrating its 28th year!
Gallery owners Don and Janet Gordon are pleased to announce its annual OPEN ART exhibit and competition, which will be held March 17th, 2017 through May 18th, 2017. Over Eighty pieces of art are expected to be on display, all by local artists; watercolors, oils, pent & ink, pastels and acrylics.
All artists, regardless of age or expertise may submit two pieces of art for this special show. Artists will compete as individuals. The works selected must be for sale and will remain on exhibit throughout the duration of the show. All artwork must be properly framed and wired for hanging. This exhibit and competition opens the door for the budding artist and gives them the opportunity to display their works in a Gallery atmosphere and also to be viewed and appreciated by the public.
Gift certificates, ribbons and cash Awards will be presented at the open house Thursday, March 30th from 5:30pm to 7:30 p.m. All artists are encouraged to come to the open house and the Public is invited to view the exhibit and meet the artists.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is free. The artwork will be on display through May 17th, 2017. Hours for viewing the exhibit are daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is welcome.
