The first Annual Taste of Millis took place at Encompass Fitness Center in Millis, Mass., with a great turnout. The event raised funds for M.E.R.I.T. (Millis Educational Resources Initiative Team, meritmillis.org), which provides supplemental grants to innovative teachers and programs in Millis, as well as for the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce (www.milfordct.com). A great number of food purveyors from Millis and the immediate area were showcased, and all enjoyed entertainment by local musician Kaplan Hasagnolu.
