The Lions Club International will celebrate its centennial this year, says Debbie Hayes, President of the Millis Lions Club. “As part of that, our club has decided to do a Legacy Project. We’re revamping the animal shelter at the transfer station, doing all the landscaping, repairing the rotten wood. We’re having a huge event May 20th, and we’ll ask people to come together, paint it, donate money for the actual shelter. The Millis LEOs are making the sign,” she says.
