11th Annual Summer Exhibition, now thru August 30, 2017
It is summer and time once again for the very popular annual exhibition of artwork by Ashland High School (AHS) art students. The work is rendered in a variety of mediums and displays a wide range of images done by some of the most talented art students working and creating this year in the AHS art classes. On July 22, from 1 to 3 PM, there will be a special reception for the student artists and their parents. The public is also most welcome.

Lower Level: Community Room and Conference Room: Photographs by Lynne Damianos
Professional and Fine Art Photographer Lynne Damianos is currently exhibiting photographic work from her NatureScape series that are on an extended loan to the Ashland Library.  All of the images are part of Lynne’s personal exploration of the natural environment.
In the large community room downstairs are 6 black & white images created over a two-week period amid breathtaking vistas on Maui, Hawaii. By eliminating color and concentrating on shape, light and texture, she brings out the exquisite forms of these striking trees. In the downstairs conference room is another group of images, some in black & white, and some in color, that are a bit more abstract. They are photographs of details, little things from the world around us that we don’t readily notice that focus in on patterns, shapes and light. The display rooms are downstairs on either side of the Children’s room.
