The next Ashland Business Association program on Tuesday, Sept. 5 will feature a hands-on, interactive workshop on business networking by Mark Altman, founder of MindsetGo, a provider of educational training programs for all aspects of professional development. Early networking is 5:30 to 6 p.m.; the program is 6 to 7:30 p.m at the Ashland Library, Community Room, 66 Front St. Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Janet Gamache, Happy Tails Dog Walking. The program is free and open to the public.
Participants will learn to:
Establish a quality elevator pitch
Identify what makes them memorable and valuable
Build positive first impressions and an off-line presence.
Also on the program will be Ashland Police Chief Craig Davis in the 10-minute Business Spotlight. Davis will talk about the benefits of registering businesses with the APD. The Business Table will feature new ABA member, Janet Gamache of Happy Tails Dog Walking, which serves Ashland, Hopkinton, and Holliston.

Since June new businesses have been popping up each week at The Corner Spot, 6 Cherry St. The spot is a popular meeting place for all ages with Tots Spot for kids every Wednesday, food truck events, music, dance performances and more! The Future of Downtown:
