Members of the Holliston Business Association are already in the planning stages for Holliston’s Annual Holiday Stroll, this year to take place on Saturday, November 25, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Mark your calendars!
Fun featured events confirmed for this year include bell ringers from the Congregational Church, crafters and Gillian Frazier Caricatures at Jordan Hall, Pumpernickel Puppets at St. Mary’s, Mike the Balloon Man at The Grapevine, Ted Reinstein signing books at Fiske’s, Harvard Alpaca Ranch on the Green and children’s crafts at the library all day. Holliston Town Hall will host such attractions as Inspire Dance Company, Flynn Magician, cookie decorating by Vesta Real Estate, facepainting by the Tate Sisters, a yoga demonstration from Light of the Heart Yoga, and Christmas singalongs with Mr. DJ. Fun will extend down Washington Street, where Bazel’s and BDR Auto will take part in the festivities. Sponsors will again fund two trolleys for easy transport.
So far this year, sponsors include TD Bank, Depot Liquors, The Holliston Reporter, Boudreau’s Automotive and Friends of the Holliston Library.
Bring your appetites as well to this year’s stroll, which will present food trucks Say Cheese and Bit’Chin BBQ. Los Carbos Restaurant from Ashland will also serve up some tacos at Town Hall.
Strollers can participate in the giving nature of the season with three Giving Trees, which will be set up around town to collect hats, gloves and scarves to be donated locally.
As the day comes to a close, don’t miss the candlelit procession, led by bagpipes, to Blair Square for s’mores by the Boy Scouts and tree lighting.
