where attendees will have the opportunity to meet and share ideas with a number of speakers from TEDxNatick, while enjoying food and refreshments. The Salon will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 6:30 to 9:00PM, at the beautiful, 2nd floor theater at TCAN (The Center for Arts in Natick). Speakers attending so far include: Jamele Adams, Brandeis Dean, poet, community organizer; Matthew Dicks, Moth Grand Slam Winner, teacher, author; Abel Sanchez, MIT professor; Maeve Sheehy, Natick High School Student; Dawn Smith, Storyteller, video producer, writer; Maria Milagros Vazquez, Speaker, author, coach; and Julia Spruance, Program Director at Waypoint Adventure and Kilimanjaro guide. An all-volunteer, community-driven initiative, TEDxNatick brings together community members, civic leaders, business leaders, technologists, artists, educators, and other professionals for thought-provoking talks, conversations and networking. Tickets for the TEDxNatick Salon can be purchased on the TCAN website, www.natickarts.org or at the box office at 14 Summer Street, Natick, MA.
