Ashland Farmers Market (AFM) will host its Pre-Thanksgiving holiday market, Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Ashland Middle School cafeteria, 87 W. Union St. (Rt. 135). Shoppers may order traditional essentials for their Thanksgiving table and shop 23 food vendors.
The holiday market will feature 11 artisans bringing winter accessories, jewelry, and holiday-themed specials, which will make finding the perfect gift just a little bit easier. AFM gift certificates will be available from the market managers’ table.
As in past holiday markets, shoppers can lunch, snack and schmooze with neighbors and friends at a special seating area. Crepe-maker Marie Simeoni of La Maison a Gateaux, The Coffee Trike and pastry baker/chocolatier/gelato-maker Dulce D Leche will offer lunch and snacks.
Farmers bringing their fall harvest are Arcadian Farm of Holliston, Long Life Farm of Hopkinton, and Upswing Farm of Ashland. Shoppers can stock up for the winter with honey, maple syrup, sauces, cheeses, pasta, meats, and, of course a variety of sweets.
