Registration Open for 8th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K Race March 9

Ready, Set, Go! The Medway Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (MEPTO) proudly presents the 8th annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K run/walk on Saturday, March 9th, with professional timing by RaceWire. Early registration is now open online at www.mepto.org.
The 5K course winds through the scenic back roads of Medway and is open to both runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Last year, over 600 participated from Medway and surrounding communities turned out for the 3.1 mile race.
All who register online at www.mepto.org by midnight on February 15th will receive a free race t-shirt! Cost of registration is $30/person, $20/children ages 17 and younger. Bib-pick up and in-person registration is available on March 8th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Medway VFW (123 Holliston Street); or on the morning of the race, from 8-8:45AM at Medway High School.
Prizes will be awarded! Medals will be given to the first-place finishers in each age group. The most spirited adult male, adult female, and child will receive gift card to the Muffin House Café. The top three ranking men and women will also receive a Muffin House gift card.
A special thanks goes out to the race sponsors. This year’s “Shamrock Silver” sponsors include: Muffin House Café and Orangetheory Fitness Center. Since its first year in 2011, the race has raised over $55,000. All funds raised through MEPTO go directly to Medway’s two elementary schools: John D. McGovern and Burke Memorial Elementary Schools.
